KCH to Offer "Xtended Care" at Kane and Johsonburg Family Practices

Beginning the first Saturday in September, KCH Family Practices in Kane and Johnsonburg will offer “Xtended Clinic Care” on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 12 noon for minor health issues at two clinic locations.

No appointments are necessary.  “Xtended Care” is a walk-in service.

The two clinic sites are: Kane Family Practice located behind Kane Community Hospital on Route 6 and Johnsonburg Family Practice located at 81 Clarion Road in Johnsonburg.

The extended hours are intended to help families and individuals who have difficulty seeing a care provider during regular day and early evening hours.  The Saturday morning option will increase choice and convenience to area residents.

While residents of the area can come to the KCH ER for any condition, any time (24/7), "Xtended Care" may be more convenient for families and at a lower cost than an urgent or emergency care visit
