The Gift of Giving Back
Again this year, Kane Community Hospital managers and employees donated a total of $700 to give back to the community in lieu of gift giving among themselves. Two community organizations that serve families and children in our area were chosen to receive the donations this year. The money will be equally divided between the Kane Area Food Pantry and Salvation Army Kettle Fund.
Participating in the check presenting from left to right are: kneeling Clara Paul, KCH Medical Records; Julie Laughner and Brittany McElhattan, KCH Diagnostic Imaging, and standing Kane Area Food Pantry Volunteers Vickie Chapman, Phyllis and Bill Swanson, Tina Elder, KCH Controller; representing the Salvation Army Kettle Fund Jacki Hinkle, Manager of the Salvation Army Thrift Store and Father Phil Pinczewski, pastor of St. Callistus Church and Treasurer of the Kane Salvation Army Kettle Fund. The Fund is directed by the Kane Area Ministerium.
"The Mission of Kane Community Hospital is to serve our patients and their families, our communities, and one another." KCH is grateful to our communities for the trust they place in our hospital to care for them all year round. KCH, an affiliate of Hamot Health Foundation, wishes all a Merry Christmas and a safe and healthy New Year.
